Initially, we crafted bespoke bridges based on specific client needs, but more recently, we have developed our own range of advanced plastic bridge systems.
Our premium product is an entirely plastic bridge made from GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) Pultruded sections, without using any recycled plastic. This design offers a lightweight solution, ideal for accessing remote or difficult-to-reach sites. The beams are person-portable, making them easy to transport and install. We provide these plastic bridges either in kit form or fully assembled, depending on your requirements.
For a more economical option, we offer bridges featuring a steel load-bearing structure combined with a plastic deck and plastic parapet. The parapet can be customised for pedestrian or cycleway use, typically offered in a post-and-rail design, but also available with infill spindles. Like our GRP bridges, these hybrid bridges can be supplied in kit form or fully assembled, catering to your specific installation needs.
Most clients prefer a solid deck surface for their plastic bridges, but for those requiring a grating, we also supply durable plastic gratings. Our experience with plastic materials dates back to 2005, with our first project for the Environment Agency in St Neots still in excellent condition today. The slight growth of algae on the plastic surface has only enhanced its appearance over time.
